How to Safely Remove Bird Droppings & Tree Sap
Wrong technique = etched paint forever. Right technique = no damage.
NEVER scrub dry bird droppings. They're acidic and contain grit — scrubbing grinds the acid deeper into your paint.
Soak a microfibre cloth in warm soapy water and lay it on the spot for 5 minutes. Wipe gently in one direction.
Tree sap responds to isopropyl alcohol or dedicated sap remover. Apply, wait 30 seconds, wipe.
If etching is already there, you'll need polish to remove it. Bring it to us — we've fixed worse.
